About the Trusts

People's Postcode Lottery manages charity lotteries for 20 Postcode Trusts. Each trust is funded entirely by players.

The trusts support a wide range of charities and good causes working across a number of areas, including care, culture, environment, human rights, education, arts, equality, health, sport and animal welfare among others.

People’s Postcode Trust, Postcode Community Trust, Postcode Local Trust, Postcode Neighbourhood Trust, Postcode Places Trust, and Postcode Society Trust are the only trusts which open for application. Each trust funds local organisations in a different area of Britain, more can be found on their websites.

Each trust is an independent charity in its own right. Each has a board of trustees, is registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and is licensed by the Gambling Commission.
